The below community guidelines express etiquette that players are expected to follow both in-game and within the Discord server - SCP Roleplay follows ROBLOX’s ToS and does not have unique guidelines of its own, thus will not be documented

The below marks rules in which we ask all members and guests to follow

1) Discord ToS & Community Guidelines

• Follow the Terms of Service & Community Guidelines that are established by Discord.

2) Privacy of Individuals

• Respect the privacy of others, and do not disclose anyone's personal information, including their full name, photo, address, or any other private details, without their explicit consent. This includes refraining from sharing personal information about other members of the server without their permission.

3) No Not Safe For Work Content [NSFW]

• Content containing sexual acts, lewd nudity, or suggestive material is strictly prohibited. This includes images, videos, text, or any other form of media that may be considered explicit or inappropriate for a general audience. Although channels may be created to separate the old from the young, we still ask that “NSFW” content is not shared within the community concerning those who may be younger participating amongst our staff team or higher (referencing to having higher channel permissions within the Discord).

4) Toxicity and General Toxicity

• Respect others - it's simple! This rule encompasses several things; don't be intentionally discriminatory against other people, don't harass other people, don't be extremely toxic, and be appropriate with other server members. Additionally, please do not argue with staff members about decisions made.

5) Scamming & Fraud

• Do not engage in any form of scamming or deceptive practices. Posting links to websites that attempt to steal personal information (i.e. Grabify) or distribute harmful software (such as viruses) is strictly prohibited. Similarly, sharing files or messages with the intent to deceive or defraud other members is not allowed or acceptable.

6) Direct Messaging [DMs]

• When interacting with server staff regarding disciplinary actions or concerns, refrain from sending unsolicited "DMs" unless explicitly instructed to do so. Please try not to excessively complain regarding punishment directly to members of our staff team.

7) Plotting & Conspiracy

• Do not use the server as a platform for malicious intent (i.e. plotting harmful activities). This includes attempting to coerce, blackmail, or incite dissent among members, any behavior that involves planning or coordinating actions that could cause harm to individuals or disrupt the community should be reported as the action is strictly prohibited.

8) Respect Channel Topic[s]

• Within the Discord server, we ask that members try to use channels for their specific topics and, or discussions. If a channel exists for a particular subject, please use that channel rather than posting off-topic content elsewhere. If there is no appropriate channel for your discussion, you may utilize the general chat channel.
